Become a MCRGO CPL Instructor with 906 Tactical

The MCRGO program is Michigan-specific and focuses on concealed carry outside the home,

ensuring you’re equipped to teach relevant, practical skills. Teaching others to responsibly

exercise their self-defense rights is one of the most impactful ways to support Second

Amendment freedoms in Michigan. Approximately 70% of MCRGO instructors transition from

national agencies, and 906 Tactical is here to make that transition seamless with our

comprehensive training program.

Program Overview

No Application Fee: There is no cost to apply to become an MCRGO instructor through 906

Tactical.

Workshop Fees: The registration fee for an instructor workshop varies depending on the

session. This fee covers trainer compensation, training materials, venue rental, and MCRGO’s

liability insurance. For specific pricing, contact 906 Tactical.

Certification Duration: MCRGO instructor certification is valid for two years. Online renewal after

two years costs $25.

No Minimums: There are no annual or biennial student or class minimums required for

recertification.

Materials and Costs: Instructors pay $10 per student, which includes access to student

certificates, all training materials, and a 1-year MCRGO membership for each student. This fee

also provides access to a video for teaching the legal portion of the CPL class. Instructors are

not required to order materials directly from MCRGO.
